Q. When are you open?

A.  MON – FRI 6am – 3pm, SAT & SUN 7am to 2pm.  We are open every day, however, please check our Facebook page where we will advise if we have had to close on a given day or closed earlier than expected.

Q. Are you open for dine in or takeaway?

A.  YES.  We are open for dine in or takeaway.  Take Away Orders can be phoned through on 5494 8173 except during peak morning hours 6 – 8am.

Nothing is more important to us than maintaining the safety of our cafe and our customers. Please do not enter the cafe if you are unwell or having Covid-19 symptoms. The Steaming Cup reserves the right to refuse any services for anyone with Covid-19 symptoms and asked such to leave the premises.

Please observe the markings on the floor to maintain 1.5m social distancing. Please follow the entry and exit arrows. If dining in, please register your details as required.

Q.  Is The Steaming Cup open on Public Holidays?

A.  YES.  The Steaming Cup typically is open every day Monday through to Sunday including public holidays.  However, understandably there may be unexpected or other occasions when we need to close, so please check our facebook page for any latest notifications or updates.

Q. What time does the kitchen close?

A.  Week Days we are open till 3pm which means the kitchen closes for ordering meals at 2pm. However, you can still grab drinks from the fridge and food from the cabinet up until closing time.

A.  Weekends we are open till 2pm which means the kitchen closes for ordering meals at 1pm.  However, you can still grab drinks from the fridge and food from the cabinet up until closing time.

Q. How close is The Steaming Cup to the Landsborough Train Station?

A.  Two feet and a heart beat, The Steaming Cup is opposite the Landsborough Train Station – awesome spot for a bit of train-spotting!

Q. Does The Steaming Cup offer free Wi-Fi?

A.  Yes.  Ask our friendly staff at The Steaming Cup for the Wi-Fi details.

Q.  I am lactose intolerant – what milk alternatives do you have?

A.  If you are after lactose free milk alternatives, The Steaming Cup has you covered with a range to choose from including:

Almond Milk, Coconut Milk, Soy Milk, Lactose Free Milk.

We also have a selection of dairy free desserts and meal choices.

Q.  Do you have vegetarian options at The Steaming Cup?

A.  Yes, we have a selection for our vegetarian friends.

Q.  Can I get Gluten Free bread and other GF goodies at The Steaming Cup?

A.  Yes, you can swap for Gluten Free bread/toast and we have GF/GFO meals and desserts – please check with us if unsure when you come in.

Q.  What coffee blend do you use?

A.  We use the award winning Tim Adams coffee – ‘The Doctor‘ blend.  For even more details check out our coffee brew range.

Q.  Can I phone through my order?

A.  Yes – phone 07  5494 8173 during business hours, however, we apologies if we miss your call during peak hour in the morning (6am – 8am).

Q.  Are kids catered for at The Steaming Cup?

A.  If you have little ones, we have high chairs available, colour-in books, toys and puzzles for the kids.  And for the little want-to-be coffee lover, we have baby-chinos for the astute young drinkers, served with a fluffy marshmallow (or freckle if they prefer).

Q.  Are pet dogs allowed at TSC?

Well behaved dogs are welcomed to dine with their owners in the courtyard if it is open.  The outdoor courtyard may be closed on wet weather days or other occasions as required.
